For the protection and maintenance of your clay pottery, please follow these instructions:
· Any clay, glazed birdbaths or pottery must be stored out of the elements for the winter months. When dry, they can be stored in any type of building out of the freezing rain and temperatures. If exposed to frost, they may crack or crumble.
· Pots should not be stored with wet soil as this may freeze and crack the pot.
· This includes terra cotta (red clay) and stoneware (white clay)
